Here you will find a list of the most frequently asked questions that we receive about eZ Positive Pay.
General Questions
What versions of QuickBooks® does eZ Positive Pay support?
QuickBooks® Pro, Premier, Enterprise 2019-2025, QuickBooks® Online Edition.
What are the limitations of the trial version?
The trial has full functionality but expires 14 days after the software is registered.
What is included in a yearly subscription?
Each yearly subscription includes two licenses, support and updates to the application through the term of the subscription.
Is your software compatible with MAC?
No unfortunately it is not compatible with MAC.
I’ve done a lot of work in the trial version and now I’m ready to purchase. Will I lose all my work?
No. All configuration and previous work is saved.
Capabilities
Do I have to remember which checks were previously exported?
No, eZ Positive Pay tracks what has previously been exported from QuickBooks and will only show transactions which haven’t been exported previously.
Can I send voided checks as part of the Positive Pay file?
Yes, if your bank supports voided checks as part of the positive pay file eZ Positive Pay can send them in addition to issued checks.
Can I upload the Positive Pay File directly to my Bank from eZ Positive Pay?
Yes, if your bank supports direct transmission you can configure the app to transmit the file directly to the bank.
My QuickBooks bank register contains payments which are non-checks, how can I send only checks?
When reviewing checks in eZ Positive Pay, the app by defaults will ignore any QuickBooks checks that do not have a valid check number. The ignored transactions will not be included in the positive pay file or shown again for upload.
Can I create Positive Pay for multiple Accounts?
Yes, the app allows you to select a single acccount for Positive Pay file generation or it can do all configured Accounts. If you are using QuickBooks Desktop, please be sure to have closed all QuickBook company files before running. eZ Positive will open and close QuickBooks Desktop as it generates the Positive Pay files.
Can I generate Positive Pay files for multiple Banks?
Yes, when you configure each account in eZ Positive Pay you specify the Bank export format.
